01 - 1 cup rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk, dairy or unsweetened plant-based
03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
04 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds
05 - 2 teaspoons honey or pure maple syrup
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
→ Fruit Layer
07 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
→ Toppings
08 - 2 tablespoons chopped nuts such as almonds or walnuts
09 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes
10 - Extra sliced strawberries
# Method:
01 - In a medium bowl or jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until well combined.
02 - Gently fold sliced strawberries into the oat mixture, preserving the fruit texture.
03 - Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow oats and chia seeds to absorb liquid and soften.
04 - In the morning, stir the prepared oats. If the mixture appears too thick, add additional milk in small amounts until reaching desired consistency.
05 - Transfer oats into bowls or jars. Top with fresh strawberries, chopped nuts, and coconut flakes as desired. Serve chilled.
